This leadership role offers the opportunity to shape the strategy, governance, and evolution of a modern commercial technology ecosystem that empowers sales teams and drives business growth. You will act as the key link between commercial operations and technology, ensuring business objectives are translated into scalable, high-impact platform solutions. Working across cross-functional teams, you will oversee CRM strategy, business intelligence, data governance, and commercial process optimization while influencing enterprise-wide transformation initiatives. This role is ideal for a strategic leader who thrives at the intersection of technology, operations, and revenue enablement. You'll collaborate with senior stakeholders, guide high-performing teams, and help create a data-driven environment that supports smarter decisions and long-term commercial success.
- Develop and execute the commercial technology strategy, ensuring CRM, business intelligence, analytics, and supporting platforms align with business priorities and future growth.
- Evaluate and optimize commercial business processes, identifying opportunities to standardize workflows, improve operational efficiency, and enhance sales effectiveness.
- Own the functional roadmap for Salesforce and the broader commercial technology stack, translating business requirements into scalable platform capabilities while partnering closely with IT teams.
- Lead commercial data governance initiatives, establishing standards, ownership models, and quality controls to ensure reliable, accurate, and actionable business data.
- Define commercial KPI frameworks, reporting strategies, and executive dashboards that improve visibility into sales performance and enable data-driven decision-making.
- Manage technology vendors, platform investments, and commercial tool portfolios to maximize business value and eliminate unnecessary complexity.
- Build strong partnerships with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and IT leaders to drive alignment, prioritize initiatives, and ensure successful execution across multiple business units.
- Lead and develop team members while effectively communicating technology strategies, roadmap progress, and business impact to executive stakeholders.
- 12+ years of experience in commercial operations, sales operations, revenue operations, or a related leadership function with demonstrated business impact.
- Strong expertise with Salesforce CRM, including pipeline management, forecasting, account planning, sales performance management, and commercial process design.
- Proven experience optimizing commercial workflows and translating operational requirements into scalable technology solutions.
- Strong understanding of commercial technology ecosystems, including CRM, analytics, reporting, and business intelligence platforms such as Tableau, Power BI, Looker, or similar solutions.
- Experience leading commercial transformation initiatives across complex, multi-business-unit or matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated success collaborating across business and technology teams while managing competing priorities and stakeholder expectations.
- Excellent analytical, strategic thinking, communication, and executive presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for business audiences.
- Experience with commercial data governance, KPI development, and platform strategy in growth-oriented environments.
- Salesforce certification and experience supporting diverse go-to-market models are considered advantageous.
- Competitive annual base salary ranging from $149,200 to $254,000, based on experience, skills, education, and location.
