Role Overview
As the Maintenance Manager, you’ll lead maintenance operations across a cluster. You’ll supervise 1–2 maintenance team members, manage work orders via Entrata, coordinate vendors, and ensure compliance with safety and inspection standards. You’ll also perform hands-on repairs and represent the maintenance team in meetings with Property Managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise 1–2 maintenance team members across assigned properties.
- Schedule and oversee turnovers, inspections, and vendor coordination.
- Perform hands-on maintenance tasks including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and appliance repairs.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and inspection readiness.
- Train new maintenance hires and enforce safety standards.
- Manage work orders and ensure timely completion using Entrata.
- Maintain inventory of tools, supplies, equipment and company vehicles.
- Log hours worked and report metrics to the Property Manager.
- Represent maintenance in meetings with Property Managers and leadership.
- Support seasonal tasks including snow removal and curb appeal projects.
- Be a part of a 24/7 on call rotation.
