Remote Sorting Facility (RSF) Supervisor in Orlando, Florida at Bag Truck LLC

We are seeking a dependable and experienced Remote Sorting Facility Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations at our off-site airport sorting facility. This role is critical to ensuring luggage is accurately received, sorted, and dispatched according to TSA compliance and service timelines. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong organizational and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily luggage handling and sorting operations
• Sweep BSO for untagged luggage belonging to Guest stayed on property
• Ensure compliance with TSA guidelines and company safety protocols
• Lead and support a team of sorting facility associates and drivers
• Monitor productivity and quality control standards
• Conduct shift check-ins and prepare reports on volume and workflow
• Communicate effectively with airport dispatch, airline partners, and management
• Address issues promptly to minimize operational disruptions
• Train new team members and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures

• Prior supervisory experience in logistics, warehouse, or baggage handling preferred
• Familiarity with TSA baggage screening requirements a plus
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift 70 lbs. or more and work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be flexible with work schedule and available during peak travel periods
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional logistics or operations training is a plus
