Description:

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Level 2 Agent Supervisor to lead baggage operations between the airport terminal and remote sorting facility. This position is responsible for overseeing a team of baggage handlers, ensuring the accurate identification, collection, and transportation of passenger luggage for proper routing and processing.

The ideal candidate will coordinate closely with airline personnel, enforce compliance with airport operational standards, and provide clear direction to team members. Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills are essential. Fluency in English is required to effectively interact with internal teams and airline partners.

This role also requires compliance with airport security protocols, including the ability to obtain and maintain a valid airport-issued security badge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of baggage handlers, ensuring operational efficiency and adherence to safety and security procedures.
  • Identify, tag, collect, and verify passenger luggage in terminal areas for transport to the remote sorting facility.
  • Ensure all baggage is properly tagged and routed in accordance with airline requirements.
  • Coordinate with airline staff to confirm flight details and baggage information.
  • Monitor staff performance, provide on-the-job training, and support team development.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of baggage handling and team activity.
  • Operate baggage carts or other transport equipment as needed.
  • Enforce compliance with all airport and company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (required).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage shifting priorities.
  • Capable of performing physically demanding tasks, including lifting and moving heavy baggage.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an airport-issued security badge (includes background check).
  • Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Prior experience in airport operations or supervisory roles is preferred.

Appearance Guidelines – Level 2 Agent SupervisorTo maintain a professional image and uphold safety standards within the airport environment, Level 2 Agent Supervisors are responsible for both adhering to and enforcing the following appearance guidelines for themselves and their team:
Uniform & Clothing

  • Supervisors must ensure all team members wear the designated uniform while on duty.
  • Uniforms must be clean, well-maintained, and properly fitted at all times.
  • Supervisors are expected to model proper uniform standards and address any non-compliance promptly.

Identification

  • Airport-issued security badges must be worn above the waist and clearly visible while on duty.
  • Any additional credentials (e.g., airline ID, ramp access cards) must also be visibly displayed as required.
  • Supervisors must verify that all team members are in compliance before beginning operations.

Personal Grooming

  • Supervisors and their teams must maintain good personal hygiene.
  • Hair must be clean and neatly groomed; long hair should be tied back if it poses a safety risk.
  • Facial hair must be neatly trimmed and present a professional appearance.
  • Supervisors are expected to address grooming issues discreetly and professionally.

Accessories

  • Minimal jewelry is permitted to avoid safety hazards (e.g., no dangling earrings, large rings, or chains).
  • Sunglasses may be worn outdoors for protection but should be removed indoors unless they are prescription.
  • Supervisors must ensure all accessories meet safety and appearance standards.

Prohibited Items

  • No clothing or accessories may display offensive language, logos, or imagery.
  • Personal devices (e.g., headphones, Bluetooth earpieces) are not to be used while on duty unless explicitly authorized for operational communication.
  • Supervisors are responsible for monitoring and correcting any violations.
