Job Summary:
We are hiring a Front Desk Coordinator to join our Seattle team. As a Front Desk Coordinator, you'll be the first point of contact for individuals seeking assistance at our branch. You'll play a crucial role in providing services and information while ensuring inquiries are directed to the appropriate department or individual. Alongside these duties, you'll handle various clerical and data entry tasks to keep operations running smoothly. The pay for this position is $22.00 to $25.99 an hour and schedule is Monday through Friday 7:00AM to 3:30PM
Essential Functions:
- General office experience in a medical setting highly preferred
- Previous experience answering phones/greeting the public.
- Reliable attendance is critical
- Show initiative in completing needed tasks
- Exhibit a high level of integrity
- Professional standard of verbal and written communication
- Ability to organize documents and electronic data effectively
- Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency
- Experience with data entry and record maintenance
- Ability to learn new electronic record systems, as necessary
- Experience working with a challenging, socioeconomically diverse client base
- Ability to interact therapeutically with clients and staff members
- Ability to apply de-escalation techniques to emotionally charged situations
- Ability to comply with confidentiality requirements.
- Ability to communicate critical, and highly sensitive information in an appropriate manner, only to those on a “need to know” basis
- Ability to comply with and implement Health & Safety initiatives as directed.
- May be asked to perform outside Facility Monitor duties as needed
- Completion of required Relias (online) trainings in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor or manager.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Two years of prior experience, including similar duties; experience in a medical setting is preferred.
- Must be able to qualify for an agency affiliate certification.
- Strong customer service skills, including proficiency in phone etiquette.
- Familiarity with office products, equipment, and procedures.
- Experience with computers, including data entry and record maintenance.
- Ability to adhere to confidentiality requirements.
- Excellent organizational skills.
