About This Position
The Great Northern is seeking a warm, professional, and detail-oriented Front Desk Agent to join our hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience from check-in to check-out. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a guest-focused environment and enjoys providing exceptional service in a fast-paced setting.
Key Responsibilities:

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a positive and friendly attitude

Handle the check-in and check-out process efficiently and accurately

Manage reservations and room assignments using the hotel’s property management system

Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries, requests, and complaints

Process payments and maintain accurate billing records

Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to fulfill guest needs

Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services

Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Uphold hotel policies and ensure guest satisfaction at all times
Requirements:

Previous hotel or customer service experience preferred

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Proficiency in using computers and hotel management software (PMS experience is a plus)

Ability to multi-task, remain calm under pressure, and problem-solve effectively

Professional appearance and demeanor

Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays

High school diploma or equivalent required
