Join a fully remote engineering team where you'll design and deliver enterprise-grade integration solutions that power critical business applications across complex technology ecosystems. In this senior role, you'll leverage deep expertise in MuleSoft and API-led connectivity to build scalable, secure, and high-performing integrations that support digital transformation initiatives. Working alongside architects, developers, and business stakeholders, you'll drive integration strategy, establish technical standards, and mentor fellow engineers. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern cloud technologies, enterprise platforms, and DevOps practices while contributing to large-scale integration programs in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, and Mule Runtime.
- Architect and implement API-led connectivity strategies by building reusable System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs aligned with enterprise integration standards.
- Develop RESTful APIs, SOAP services, GraphQL APIs, and asynchronous integrations using DataWeave, RAML, OpenAPI, and modern integration patterns.
- Build reusable connectors, templates, shared services, and integration components that improve development efficiency and consistency across projects.
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Mule applications across CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, hybrid, and on-premises environments while ensuring scalability, reliability, and high availability.
- Implement robust API security practices using OAuth 2.0, JWT, OpenID Connect, mutual TLS, API gateways, and API governance frameworks.
- Design and support event-driven integrations using technologies such as Anypoint MQ, Apache Kafka, JMS, and other enterprise messaging platforms.
- Integrate enterprise applications including Salesforce, SAP, Workday, ServiceNow, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, and cloud-based SaaS platforms.
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term reliability improvements.
- Establish CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and observability practices while collaborating with architects, product owners, and engineering teams.
- Conduct architecture and code reviews, mentor developers, and promote best practices for enterprise integration development.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience in enterprise application integration, including at least 5 years of hands-on MuleSoft Anypoint Platform development.
- Expert knowledge of Mule Runtime, Anypoint Studio, DataWeave 2.x, and enterprise API development.
- Strong experience designing API-led connectivity architectures, REST and SOAP services, RAML, OpenAPI specifications, and enterprise integration patterns.
- Hands-on expertise deploying Mule applications across CloudHub, Runtime Fabric, hybrid, or on-premises environments.
- Deep understanding of API security, authentication, authorization, encryption, and governance using OAuth 2.0, JWT, mTLS, and Anypoint API Manager.
- Experience implementing event-driven architectures with Kafka, JMS, Anypoint MQ, or comparable messaging technologies.
- Proven experience integrating enterprise platforms such as Salesforce, SAP, Workday, Oracle ERP, ServiceNow, Microsoft Dynamics, and cloud applications.
- Familiarity with Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Infrastructure as Code, and modern DevOps practices.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
- MuleSoft certifications and experience with AWS, Azure, GCP, GraphQL, AsyncAPI, Zero Trust security, or enterprise integration governance are considered strong advantages.
- Salary: $130,000–$180,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
- 100% remote position within the United States.
