The Regional Account Executive will own the full sales cycle for enterprise software solutions, from prospecting and opportunity development to negotiation and closing. This role requires strong business development capabilities, strategic account management skills, and the ability to engage senior decision-makers across complex organizations.
- Generate revenue through subscription license sales, professional services, and maintenance solutions.
- Manage a multi-state territory focused on mid-market and enterprise organizations.
- Develop and execute strategies to identify new business opportunities and expand market presence.
- Lead the complete sales process, including lead generation, qualification, discovery, presentations, negotiations, and contract closure.
- Build trusted relationships with executive-level stakeholders and effectively communicate business value.
- Leverage indirect sales channels, business partners, and implementation specialists to support customer success.
- Collaborate with solution experts and internal teams to deliver tailored demonstrations and proposals.
- Manage sales forecasting, pipeline development, and quota achievement through disciplined sales execution.
- Support customers in adopting solutions that improve operational efficiency, asset management, and field service performance.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial enterprise sales professional with proven experience selling complex software solutions and managing large-scale business opportunities. Strong communication skills, industry knowledge, and the ability to influence C-level stakeholders are essential.
- 5+ years of experience in enterprise software sales and new business development.
- Proven success selling complex software solutions, preferably within Field Service Management, Enterprise Asset Management, ERP, or related technologies.
- Strong track record of managing long sales cycles and closing high-value enterprise transactions.
- Experience selling directly to executive decision-makers and managing multiple buying stakeholders.
- Ability to sell software licenses and services while navigating complex customer requirements.
- Strong understanding of EAM, FSM, and ERP technologies and their business applications.
- Experience working with sales channels, partners, and cross-functional solution teams.
- Demonstrated ability to consistently achieve sales quotas and revenue targets.
- Excellent presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to travel approximately 50-60% as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
