IT Coordinator Level 1 Healthcare

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an IT Coordinator Level 1 Healthcare based in the United States.

This role offers the opportunity to provide essential technical support within a healthcare environment where reliable technology directly contributes to better patient care. You will support users across clinical and corporate teams by ensuring systems, devices, and applications operate efficiently and securely. As part of a collaborative IT team, you will troubleshoot issues, improve processes, and help maintain a seamless technology experience for healthcare professionals. The position combines hands-on technical work, customer service, and operational support in a mission-driven setting. Accountabilities:

The IT Coordinator Level 1 provides technical assistance to users, supports daily IT operations, and helps maintain reliable technology systems across multiple locations. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering excellent internal customer service.

  • Provide technical support and service assistance to users by researching, diagnosing, and resolving hardware, software, and network-related issues.
  • Troubleshoot workstation, application, and system problems while guiding users through effective solutions.
  • Set up, configure, and maintain computers, peripherals, printers, routers, and other technology equipment.
  • Install and configure software applications according to organizational requirements.
  • Manage and track support requests through the ticketing system, ensuring accurate documentation and timely resolution.
  • Maintain IT asset records and assist with inventory management.
  • Support the creation and improvement of standard operating procedures and IT documentation.
  • Perform basic account administration tasks, including mailbox setup, password resets, and account extensions.
  • Assist with IT projects, system implementations, and technology rollouts as needed.
  • Provide onsite support at different locations, including occasional overnight travel for clinic visits.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused IT professional with experience supporting users in a Windows-based environment and a strong ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role within a corporate environment; 3 years preferred.
  • Experience working with ticketing systems such as Zendesk or similar service management platforms.
  • Experience managing user accounts and permissions through Microsoft Active Directory and Microsoft Azure.
  • Knowledge of computer systems, networks, hardware, software troubleshooting, and IT support processes.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong diagnostic, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-service-oriented approach.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to travel locally to support different sites and participate in occasional overnight travel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future visa sponsorship.
