CpK Interior Products Inc. is hiring a Human Resources Manager to support our HR team in cross‑functional operational activities. This role is responsible for delivering excellent customer service while overseeing all functions of the HR department in our manufacturing facility. Expertise required in the areas of Labour Relations, Training and Development, Environmental Health & Safety, Attendance Management, Employee Engagement, Government Regulation Compliance and other HR related programs and services. The Human Resources Manager will collaborate with operating management in defining and implementing business strategies, managing various Continuous Improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives and as well as actively participate in joint activities with UNIFOR Union, while contributing to Plant SQDCM (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Cost, Morale) objectives.

What You’ll Do (Key responsibilities, not limited to)

  • Coaches and mentors a multi-disciplinary Human Resources team to support the achievement and site objectives and deliverables (3 direct reports).
  • Directs the plant employee hourly recruitment, training and development, adhering to all applicable laws and regulations. Assists the Plant Manager directly in, transfer, succession planning and development of salary staff.
  • Leads Labour Relations activities (including full cycle grievance process) and provides guidance to H.R Staff in the administration of HR programs and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
  • Develops and implements measures to increase employee morale, motivation and satisfaction, while reducing turnover.
  • Ensures the execution of attendance management initiatives.
  • Works with Corporate H.R on programs and initiatives including terminations policy roll out.
  • Directs accurate use and ensures maintenance of HRIS system.
  • Ensures completion of salary performance management program and provides coaching and consultation to managers and employees throughout.
  • Supports benefit administration activities.
  • Manages WSIB claims management activities.
  • Directs and works with company medical representative on various H&S initiatives.
  • Employee relations including coaching, mentoring, corrective counseling and investigations.
  • Assist managers in attaining corporate objectives.
  • Formulates and recommends personnel policies and objectives of the company in conjunction with corporate H.R. Directs the interpretation and application of said policies throughout the plant.
  • Conducts continuing reviews of all personnel policies, programs and practices to keep the plant abreast of current practices and informed of new developments, pending and new laws and regulations.
  • Directs the preparation and maintenance of regular and special reports desired by management to assist in the attainment of corporate objectives.
  • Responsible for full scope attendance management.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent
  • Minimum 5-10 years combined experience in one or more of the following areas: labour relations, compensation, performance management, organizational planning, workforce analytics, or project management
  • CHRL designation an asset
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Strong working knowledge of the Employment Standards Act
  • Proven ability to work with all levels of employees from hourly to Plant Leadership
  • Superior analytical and organizational skills
  • Extremely high proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Multifaceted Human Resources trained person
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior business acumen and strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and respond to changing priorities
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, KPI management
  • Previous Management experience working in a manufacturing environment is required
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
  • Professional and a collaborative, solution‑focused mindset

Work Schedule & Pay

  • Schedule: Full‑time, On-site, Manufacturing Operations
  • Hours: Monday–Friday, standard hours. Weekend work depending on position when scheduled as per customer demand
  • Overtime: As required, in accordance with company policy and applicable legislation
  • Compensation Range: $90,000–$120,000 annual

This range reflects our current expectations as of this posting’s date. Your final salary offer will consider various key factors, including education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographical locations, as well as the needs and requirements of the business.
