The Role:
We are seeking a Senior HR Business Partner to support HR operations across Operations, Supply Chain, and Procurement. This role focuses on executing HR strategies, strengthening people programs, and partnering with senior leaders.
Reporting to the CHRO, this role will translate organizational goals into scalable HR solutions while ensuring consistency and compliance in a non-unionized environment.
What you get to do:
- Participate in the Operations Leadership team providing HR-related insights and initiating people solutions.
- Support the development and execution of HR programs and initiatives aligned with business and operational priorities.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to the Chief Operations Officer, Chief SC and Procurement Officer and their salaried office-based teams, providing guidance on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational effectiveness.
- Collaborate with senior leaders to address people-related challenges and drive performance.
- Operate as a key member of the HR team sharing knowledge, support, and continuous improvement ideas to the Plant HRBP teams and the broader HR function.
- Support workforce planning initiatives related to hiring, retention, succession planning, and leadership development.
- Partner with Talent Acquisition to support recruitment strategies and interviewing for salaried roles Employee Relations
- Oversee and support complex employee relations matters, including performance management, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation and HR policies across Canadian and U.S. jurisdictions.
- Support audits, policy updates, and risk mitigation initiatives.
- Leverage HRIS and reporting tools to monitor workforce metrics and support informed decision-making.
- Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and reporting efficiency.
- Support employee engagement, wellness, and recognition initiatives that promote a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Act as a role model for company values and leadership behaviors.
What you bring to the role:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (CHRP/CHRL or equivalent strongly preferred).
- 5–7 years of progressive HR experience, with demonstrated leadership in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- Solid understanding of employment and labour legislation
- Proven ability to influence leaders and manage complex employee relations matters.
- Strong organizational, project management, and communication skills.
- Experience using cloud-based HR systems and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.

- The hiring range for this position is $140,000 - $160,000.
