- Lead and evolve the end-to-end product design function, including UX/UI, design systems, and visual language across product and brand.
- Manage and mentor a small team of designers, setting high standards for quality, speed, collaboration, and ownership.
- Act as a player-coach, staying hands-on in key projects while guiding overall design direction and execution.
- Partner closely with product leadership to shape roadmap decisions, product strategy, and experience design priorities.
- Drive UX research and discovery efforts, including user flows, usability testing, and customer insight integration.
- Improve collaboration between product, design, and engineering by strengthening processes from discovery to delivery.
- Lead the adoption of AI-enabled design workflows to accelerate ideation, prototyping, and validation.
- Establish and enforce design QA standards to ensure consistency, usability, and implementation quality.
- Champion a culture of prototyping, testing, and continuous validation to improve product outcomes.
- Ensure design contributes directly to key business metrics such as adoption, retention, and customer value.
- 10+ years of experience in product design, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Strong experience in fast-paced startup or growth-stage environments.
- Proven track record designing and shipping B2B SaaS or complex, workflow-driven products.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both product design and brand/marketing design capabilities.
- Deep expertise in UX research, usability testing, and translating insights into product improvements.
- Experience building and scaling design systems in growing organizations.
- Strong systems thinking, interaction design skills, and product sense.
- Experience partnering closely with product, engineering, and executive stakeholders.
- Proficiency in modern design tools such as Figma and comfort with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Cursor.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to influence cross-functional teams and defend design decisions with clarity.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity while driving structure and clarity in evolving environments.
- A strong design taste level demonstrated through portfolio quality and craft standards.
