Raising the Standard

Some roles are about filling a seat. This one is about raising a standard. At Trinitas, we look for professionals who take ownership naturally, who care about precision, follow-through, and the impact their work has on others. If you hold yourself to a high bar even when no one is watching, you’ll likely feel aligned here.

Why This Role Matters

This role exists to help bring Trinitas’ design work in-house as we build out our internal marketing function, taking on creative that was previously supported by outside partners and meeting a growing need for property-level design. The work directly supports our corporate brand, our portfolio properties, and our development projects by ensuring every piece of creative is on-brand, accurate, and built to perform, from early-stage development through lease-up and ongoing operations. When this role is performed well, our properties launch with strong, consistent brands, site teams have templates they can confidently use on their own, and marketing moves faster without sacrificing quality.

What It Means to Work the Trinitas Way

Our values guide how we operate every day.

Develop with Purpose & Passion

In this role, you will:

· Help scale our in-house design function, creating templates, systems, and processes that grow with our portfolio.

· Continuously sharpen your craft in typography, layout, color, and imagery, staying current on design trends and tools and sharing what you learn with the team.

Act with Extreme Ownership

In this role, you will:

· Own projects from concept to final delivery, managing multiple priorities and deadlines without losing creativity or attention to detail.

· Anticipate the needs of marketing, development, and site teams and proactively solve design challenges before they become bottlenecks.

Do the Right Thing

In this role, you will:

· Steward the Trinitas and portfolio brands with integrity: upholding brand guidelines, using imagery, fonts, and assets appropriately exercising sound judgment about when AI tools add value and when original, thoughtful design is required.

· Communicate clearly with stakeholders, presenting concepts, explaining design decisions, and receiving feedback with openness.

Core Responsibilities

The following represent the essential functions of the role and must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation:

• Design and produce print and digital materials in Adobe Creative Suite for corporate and property marketing, including collateral, presentations, social media graphics, signage, merchandise, and website elements.
• Support property branding and marketing design for new developments, partnering with marketing and development teams early in the process through lease-up and beyond.
• Build and maintain Canva templates and brand assets that site teams can easily use and adapt, ensuring designs translate consistently across platforms.
• Uphold brand guidelines across corporate and portfolio brands and contribute to the ongoing refinement of each brand’s visual identity.
• Edit and retouch photography and imagery to ensure a consistent look and feel.
• Review and proof all work for accuracy, visual consistency, and alignment with project goals before final delivery.
• Collaborate with marketers and other stakeholders to integrate design with content, messaging, and campaign strategy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

What Success Looks Like

After 6–12 months in this role:

• Property brands and marketing campaigns are delivered on time, on brand, and to a high standard, with less reliance on outside partners.
• Marketing, development, and site teams see you as a trusted, responsive design partner whose work they can count on.
• You have created a library of easy-to-use Canva templates and brand assets is in place, helping site teams produce consistent, on-brand materials independently.
• You have helped shape the in-house design function by improving workflows, sharing knowledge, and raising the creative bar for the team.

Success here is measured not only by output but by the trust you build.

What Will Help You Thrive

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 3–5 years of professional graphic design experience. A portfolio is required with your application.
• Adobe Creative Suite (Required, Primary Toolset): Advanced proficiency in InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom. Most of the design work in this role is done in Adobe. Premiere Pro and After Effects experience is a plus.
• Canva (Required): Proficiency in Canva, including building templates and brand kits that non-designers can use on their own.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Production: Experience preparing print-ready files for signage, collateral, and merchandise vendors.
• Professional Skills: Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and visual hierarchy; excellent communication and collaboration skills; strong organization and the ability to manage multiple projects at once.

Just as important, you:

• Take pride in accountability.
• Value accuracy and follow-through.
• Work well in teams and independently.
• Bring structure and consistency to fast-moving work.
