Registered Nurse (RN) | Cantonese-speaking in Toronto, Ontario at C-Care Health Services

Scope and Responsibilities

1. Document and Charting
   • Maintain accurate and updated patient records.
   • Ensure all documents comply with legal and regulatory requirements, while maintaining patient confidentiality and privacy.
2. Nursing Assessments, Pre-, and Post-Procedure Assistance
   • Conduct patient assessments before procedure and ensure good physical and psychological condition.
   • Take and monitor vital signs and other aspects of physical condition.
   • Educate patients on the procedures being performed and provide more information and set expectations.
   • Educate patients and families on post-procedure guidelines including but not limited to care, pain management, and prescribed medication.
3. Safety and Infection Control
   • Adhere to standard precautions such as proper hand hygiene, use of personal protective equipment as needed, and proper handling of disposal and wastes.
   • Ensure a safe and clean environment through proper disinfection practices and following infection control protocols.

Minimum Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Nursing Diploma program
• Active registration of Registered Nurse license with CNO
• Valid BLS certificate
• Fluency in Cantonese is a must
• OR experience is an asset
