Cole Valley Christian Schools, established in 1972, is the largest Christian school in Idaho, serving approximately 1,400 students from early childhood through 12th grade with a culture of grace, truth and love. Job Summary:
Cole Valley Christian Schools is seeking God’s wisdom as we search for a Christ following, dynamic, and gifted individual to join our incredible staff. The Facilities & Safety Coordinator provides operational support for the Director of Facilities & Safety through coordination of transportation services, facilities logistics, event scheduling, custodial services, building access, and safety operations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage relationship with contracted custodial services through facility walk-throughs and campus evaluations to ensure quality of services.
- Coordinate vendor and service provider scheduling and communications.
- Assist in managing the school’s calendar system for special events, room reservations, transportation requests, and third-party facility requests.
- Administer campus security access system and key distribution management for the elementary and secondary campuses through staff and student ID printing, key release, vendor access, and special events.
- Support transportation services through scheduling assistance, driving record and background checks, drug and alcohol testing, insurance documentation, shuttle operations and communications.
- Assist Director in managing department expense tracking and budgeting.
- Assist in developing department policies and storing department documentation.
- Collaborate with Event Team in planning and communication to appropriate staff groups.
- Support Director in campus development initiatives and communications.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Evidence of a teachable heart, humility, and a spirit of unity and peace.
- High school diploma required.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in administrative role and responsibilities.
- Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and various information simultaneously.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Effective interpersonal and relationship building skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Spiritual Qualifications:
- Profess a personal relationship with Jesus Christ and have made Him both Savior and Lord as represented in Scripture (John 14:1-27; Ephesians 2:8-22) and accepts without reservation the Statement of Faith of Cole Valley Christian Schools.
- Have a history of faithfully attending and financially supporting a Bible believing church.
- Have a verifiable history of living and modeling Christian character in employee's personal and professional life, serving as a Christian role model first to family and friends and then to students, parents, and fellow faculty and staff members in regard to personal judgment, dignity, and Christian living. This is expressed in such passages as Ephesians 5:21-23; Colossians 3:12-17; and 2 Peter 1:1-10. Individual's life in Christ must continue to be faithfully pursued in and out of the workplace as a condition of continuing in this ministry position.
- Willing to submit to the authority of those who have oversight of the school (1 Peter 2, 9-20), and to fully cooperate with these authorities and adhere to the policies adopted by the School Board in both letter and intent.
- Strive at all times to understand, appreciate, love, and nurture the students entrusted to employee for instruction, supervision, and/or oversight, and must provide for their fullest spiritual, intellectual, physical, and emotional development.
Job
- Hours: Full-time year-round 215 contract days.
- Salary: Starts at $17.00 per hour. Actual salary depends upon experience.
