GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION

Highly skilled and detail-oriented inventory control professional with demonstrated expertise in inventory accuracy, operational analytics, and cross functional coordination. The ICQA Level 2 plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity of warehouse inventory systems by executing advanced cycle counting, variance analysis, and process validation activities. This position requires a strong command of inventory control methodologies, data-driven decision making, and the ability to diagnose and resolve systemic discrepancies at their source.

The ICQA 2 is responsible for ensuring that all stock levels, product movements, and system-reported quantities are consistently aligned. This includes monitoring inventory trends, validating material flows, and ensuring compliance with established process controls. In addition, this role conducts in-depth root-cause investigations, identifies procedural gaps, and partners with internal stakeholders to develop corrective actions that enhance accuracy, streamline workflows, and prevent future recurrence.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Track & Tally: Create and update reports that keep inventory accuracy on point.
  • Count Like a Pro: Conduct cycle counts, investigate variances, and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Analyze & Optimize: Dive into inventory data to spot issues and improve processes.
  • Timeline Titan: Juggle daily, weekly, and monthly ICQA tasks like a multitasking master.
  • Team Player: Partner with other departments to build better inventory practices.
  • Info Hub: Answer inventory-related questions and keep everyone in the loop.
  • Organize Everything: Sort and store items by the book; racks, shelves, bins, you name it.
  • Tech-Savvy: Use digital scanners like a boss.
  • Clean & Safe: Keep your workspace tidy and safe while contributing to quality improvements.
  • Schedule Slayer: Stick to daily deadlines and keep things running smoothly.
  • Report Wrangler: Create and update reports that keep inventory accuracy in check.
  • Counting Champ: Support cycle counts and help reconcile discrepancies with data-driven insights.
  • WMS Wizard: Generate reports to guide the ICQA team using our warehouse management system.
  • Inventory Educator: Teach teammates why inventory accuracy matters—and how to nail it.
  • File Master: Keep records and correspondence neat, tidy, and easy to find.
  • Hands-On Helper: Occasional assembly work, assemble multiple inventory SKU’s and process into customer-facing product.
  • Deadline Defender: Help execute action plans on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis to keep us on track.
  • Show up and shine- be reliably present and punctual, keeping things on track and on time.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE JOB

  • Full understanding of procedures and goals relating to ICQA department.
  • 3+yrs of experience in inventory management.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Intermediate/Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Experience with ERP Order Management Systems/ Warehouse Management Systems -Microsoft Dynamics 365.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Able to prioritize tasks and goals.
  • Problem solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of various teams
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Ability to perform diversified clerical & administrative functions.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Forklift experience preferred.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Prolonged periods of standing/walking/sitting.
  • Continually lift, carry and/or move up to 50lbs.
  • Continually required to utilize hand and finger dexterity.
  • Occasionally required to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasional loud noise.
  • Occasional varying environmental temperature changes.
