About This Position
Description:
Summary:
Primary role will be pulling orders to be distributed to our various branch locations. Contribute to providing excellent customer service to our customers by providing a successful first step in gaining their trust and confidence in us through accurate, timely and efficient processing of branch orders. As needed, assist in completion of other warehouse functions as directed by Supervisor. Contribute to a team atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fill branch transfer and supply orders in an efficient and timely manner, place into designated bins/spaces.
- Become familiar with location of merchandise in warehouse.
- Assist in maintaining a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse. Organize, sweep, clear walk aisles, etc. as needed or directed.
- Perform assignments with a sense of urgency while maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and safe practices.
- As needed or directed, perform other tasks as needed or directed, including but not limited to: put away incoming stock; organizing material locations; bin changes; load trucks; conduct cycle counts;cut wire, year-end inventories at various locations as assigned.
- Perform all duties in a safe and responsible manner, following all safety rules. Report any unsafe conditions.?
- Complete training and education requirements as directed.
- Maintain a positive customer service attitude towards customers and co-workers by being friendly, cooperative and courteous.
- Perform miscellaneous duties as needed.

Physical Requirements:
- Regularly required to stand, sit, walk; use hands and arms to finger, handle, feel, reach or carry.
- Occasionally required climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- Frequently required to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Regularly required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Occasionally required to maneuver up to 100 lbs.
- Must be able to safely tolerate heat in the summer and cold in the winter.
- Regularly required to talk and hear; read and identify numbers
- Regularly required to apply sound reasoning and logic in performing daily tasks.
- Required to be able to safely operate a forklift, pallet jack and/or wire-cutting machine.
