Job Description

Lead Product Manager, Money Movement & Settlements

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Lead Product Manager, Money Movement & Settlements in Canada.

This is a senior individual contributor product role focused on owning and shaping the end-to-end money movement and settlements ecosystem within a highly regulated, global fintech environment. You will define and drive the roadmap across critical domains such as funding rails, post-trade settlement, instant funding, and broker-dealer cash flows, ensuring reliable and scalable financial infrastructure for institutional partners. Operating at the intersection of payments, clearing systems, and brokerage infrastructure, you will work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and commercial teams to unify fragmented systems into a cohesive platform experience. The role requires strong product leadership in complex, regulated environments where precision, reliability, and regulatory alignment are essential. You will also act as a key voice in partner and executive discussions, shaping how financial flows are exposed, adopted, and scaled globally. This is a high-impact role where success is measured by real-world usage, stability, and adoption of money movement capabilities across the ecosystem.

Accountabilities
  • You will own the full product vision, roadmap, and success metrics for the money movement and settlements domain, including funding rails, instant and JIT funding, post-trade settlement systems, and related financial products.
  • You will personally drive execution across multiple parallel workstreams, contributing directly to high-priority initiatives while coordinating across other product partners in the space.
  • You will define and evolve scalable money movement APIs and settlement frameworks that support diverse partner needs, geographies, and regulatory requirements.
  • You will make strategic build-vs-buy, partner integration, and sequencing decisions while balancing regulatory constraints, operational complexity, and business priorities.
  • You will collaborate closely with engineering, treasury, compliance, legal, and partnerships teams to deliver compliant, scalable, and high-performing financial infrastructure.
  • You will lead discovery with partners and stakeholders, translating complex requirements into actionable roadmaps while setting clear expectations on feasibility and timelines.
  • You will define and track adoption and performance metrics such as settlement success rates, funding speed, and operational efficiency, iterating on solutions based on real-world usage.
Requirements
  • You bring 10+ years of experience in product management, engineering, consulting, or startup environments, with significant ownership in regulated financial systems or infrastructure products.
  • You have hands-on experience with money movement systems such as ACH, wire transfers, RTP, FedNow, FX flows, or settlement and clearing infrastructure.
  • You understand regulatory frameworks governing payments and brokerage operations, including NACHA rules, FINRA/SEC requirements, AML/BSA obligations, and OFAC compliance.
  • You have a proven track record of owning and executing complex, multi-stream product roadmaps in high-scale, regulated environments.
  • You are comfortable operating as a senior individual contributor who influences across teams, sets standards, and drives execution without direct people management responsibility.
  • You communicate clearly with both technical and executive stakeholders and can operate effectively in partner-facing discussions and leadership forums.
  • You have strong analytical skills and are comfortable working with data tools such as SQL and BI platforms to inform product decisions.
Benefits
  • Competitive salary and equity package aligned with experience
  • Comprehensive health, dental, vision, and mental health coverage
  • Fully remote work with flexibility across North America (EST alignment preferred)
  • Home office setup stipend and monthly remote work allowance
  • Opportunity to shape global-scale financial infrastructure used across regulated markets
  • High-impact individual contributor role with significant ownership and visibility
  • Collaborative, mission-driven environment in a fast-growing fintech organization
