  • Support construction administration, including field reviews, site inspections, and contractor coordination.
  • Contribute to proposals, RFP responses, and technical bid evaluations in collaboration with project teams.
  • Assist in commissioning activities, system start-up, and technical review of vendor documentation.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment with project objectives and expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and registration (or eligibility for registration) as a Professional Engineer in Canada.
  • 8+ years of experience in electrical design for commercial, institutional, or healthcare building projects.
  • Strong knowledge of building electrical systems, codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Proficiency with design tools such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Experience with lighting simulation tools such as AGi32; familiarity with ElumTools is an asset.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines and stakeholders.
  • Project management experience, including budget, schedule, and deliverable oversight.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation, proposals, and construction-related deliverables.
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to project sites within Ontario and surrounding regions.
  • Additional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED AP, RCDD) considered an asset.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package with comprehensive health and dental coverage.
  • Defined benefit pension plan with employer contributions.
  • Generous vacation allowance and paid leave programs.
  • Flexible work arrangements, including hybrid and occasional remote work options.
  • Health spending account and wellness incentives.
  • Professional development support, including training, education funding, and mentorship opportunities.
