The Director, Field Medical/Medical Science Liaison leads scientific engagement activities across a defined territory, serving as a trusted medical resource for healthcare professionals and internal teams. This role requires strong cardiovascular expertise, strategic relationship building, and the ability to communicate complex scientific information effectively.

• Develop and maintain peer-to-peer relationships with cardiologists, heart failure specialists, researchers, and other key healthcare experts.
• Conduct high-level scientific discussions on disease states, mechanisms of action, clinical trial results, real-world evidence, and emerging therapies.
• Execute local medical strategies by identifying opportunities for collaboration with academic centers, research institutions, and healthcare networks.
• Present and interpret complex cardiovascular data, including preclinical research, Phase I–IV clinical studies, and biomarker findings.
• Gather and communicate actionable medical insights from external experts to support broader medical strategies and decision-making.
• Support medical congress activities and scientific engagement initiatives at major cardiovascular conferences.
• Provide clinical trial support by partnering with Medical Affairs and Clinical Operations teams on enrollment, feasibility, site support, and investigator relationships.
• Facilitate protocol education and provide scientific guidance while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and internal procedures.
• Support investigator-initiated studies and research collaborations when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate documentation of field activities and insights through CRM systems.
• Ensure all scientific interactions follow regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and company policies.

The ideal candidate brings advanced scientific expertise, strong communication capabilities, and experience within cardiovascular medicine, clinical research, or medical affairs. The role requires the ability to build credibility with external experts while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

• MD, PharmD, PhD, or equivalent advanced scientific degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiovascular Medical Affairs, clinical research, or a related scientific field.
• Prior Medical Science Liaison experience strongly preferred.
• Deep knowledge of cardiology, cardiovascular clinical trials, treatment landscapes, and evolving medical guidelines.
• Expertise in areas such as heart failure, cardiomyopathies, hypertension, valvular heart disease, ASCVD, lipid disorders, thrombosis, anticoagulation, cardiometabolic disease, or rare cardiovascular conditions.
• Strong scientific communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to translate complex clinical data into clear, meaningful discussions with healthcare professionals.
• Experience collaborating with healthcare providers, researchers, and cross-functional internal teams.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
• Willingness and ability to travel approximately 60%–70%, including overnight and regional travel.
