RVP, Sales

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a RVP, Sales based in United States.

This is a senior sales leadership role focused on accelerating growth within a fast-moving, AI-native environment.
You will lead and develop a high-performing sales organization while owning key revenue and strategic growth initiatives.
The role combines team leadership, complex enterprise selling, strategic account development, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to create alignment across the full customer journey.
You will personally engage with major customers and strategic accounts while helping shape high-value commercial opportunities.
Data, forecasting, and pipeline discipline will be central to measuring performance and informing executive-level decisions.
The position offers significant influence in a rapidly evolving environment where first-principles thinking, adaptability, and execution are highly valued.

Accountabilities:
  • Build, lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team focused on consistent revenue growth and strong execution.
  • Establish and maintain a performance-driven, values-aligned sales culture with clear expectations and accountability.
  • Partner closely with Marketing, Product, and Customer Success to align go-to-market activities and improve the customer journey.
  • Lead strategic and complex sales opportunities while building trusted relationships with key customers and strategic accounts.
  • Drive revenue performance by developing effective sales strategies and scaling the organization to support continued growth.
  • Provide regular sales reporting, business insights, forecasts, and pipeline analysis to executive leadership and the board.
  • Monitor sales analytics, pipeline health, and performance indicators to identify opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the sales organization and go-to-market strategy in a fast-changing and highly competitive environment.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of SaaS sales experience, including at least 5 years in a sales leadership position.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding revenue targets and successfully scaling sales organizations.
  • Experience in InsuranceTech sales is preferred, with an understanding of the insurance industry and its commercial dynamics.
  • Deep expertise in solution selling, value-based selling, and managing complex enterprise sales cycles.
  • Strong understanding of the SaaS go-to-market funnel, from demand generation and pipeline development through negotiation and close.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, motivate, and develop high-performing sales professionals.
  • Exceptional communication, leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and advanced understanding of sales forecasting, pipeline management, and performance metrics.
  • Ability to build relationships with senior customers and strategic accounts while personally contributing to high-value opportunities.
  • Comfortable operating with ambiguity, adapting to changing priorities, and making decisions in a rapidly evolving environment.
Benefits:
  • Base salary targeted at $200,000–$215,000, with final compensation determined by factors including location, experience, expertise, and market conditions.
  • Total compensation package includes stock options.
