Construction Project Coordinator

CleanSpace Modular LLC

Location: Fort Washington, PA

Office-Based with Occasional Job Site Visits


Position Summary

The Construction Project Coordinator provides administrative and logistical support to ensure construction projects run smoothly from planning through closeout. This role bridges communication between project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients while helping maintain project schedules, documentation, and compliance.

The ideal candidate combines strong organizational and multitasking skills with construction project administration experience, excellent communication abilities, and an understanding of construction documents, project coordination, and day-to-day site operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in planning and coordinating construction project activities from planning through project closeout

  • Maintain and update project schedules, calendars, and project tracking systems

  • Organize and manage project documentation, including contracts, permits, RFIs, submittals, and change orders

  • Coordinate project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and follow up on action items

  • Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to coordinate deliveries, schedules, and project-related issues

  • Track project costs, budgets, and billing information to support project financial management

  • Support procurement of construction materials, equipment, and project-related supplies

  • Collaborate with project managers and field teams to support day-to-day site operations

  • Assist in preparing project progress reports and maintaining accurate project records

  • Support project closeout activities, including documentation and outstanding action items

  • Help ensure project activities align with applicable safety standards and local building codes

  • Coordinate communication between internal project teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to help maintain project progress

  • Assist project managers with administrative tasks and follow-up to support project deadlines and deliverables

Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field preferred

  • 2+ years of experience in construction, project coordination, or project administration

  • Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Familiarity with construction documents, project processes, and project coordination

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven construction environment

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project records

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with project managers, field teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients

Preferred Experience
  • Experience supporting commercial, industrial, or other construction projects

  • Familiarity with construction project management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or Smartsheet

  • Knowledge of permitting, inspections, and construction safety regulations

  • Experience coordinating subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, and project schedules

  • Familiarity with project cost tracking, budgets, billing, and change order processes

  • Experience supporting project closeout and construction documentation

  • Prior experience working in a construction office and collaborating with field teams
