Fit Franchise Brands | The MAX Challenge & Farrell’s Extreme Bodyshaping

Reports to: CEO
Base Salary: $125,000–$135,000
Total Target Compensation: $145,000–$162,000, including a performance-based annual bonus

About the Role

Fit Franchise Brands (FFB) is seeking a results-driven Director of Operations / Integrator to lead operational performance across our franchise network and company-owned fitness centers while driving organizational alignment, accountability, and execution.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this role combines multi-unit operational leadership with cross-functional business integration. You will translate strategic priorities into focused execution plans, develop leaders who take ownership of results, and build simple, scalable systems that improve center profitability and overall business performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can diagnose business problems, make decisions, and ensure commitments turn into measurable results.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Performance & Franchise Success
  • Lead and develop Brand Managers and company-owned operations leadership to improve performance, profitability, and operational consistency.

  • Establish and monitor KPIs, franchise health metrics, and performance targets across both brands, including sales conversion, member retention, revenue, and profitability.

  • Ensure underperforming centers have focused improvement plans with clear franchisee commitments, measurable targets, deadlines, and consistent follow-through.

  • Simplify and standardize operating processes, coaching structures, and performance management tools to make franchisee success more achievable.

  • Define and enforce a clear, scalable franchise support model, including service standards, franchisee responsibilities, and boundaries around customized support.

  • Oversee operational compliance standards and ensure unresolved performance or compliance concerns receive timely action.

Strategic Execution & Organizational Accountability
  • Translate the CEO’s vision and strategic priorities into execution plans with defined owners, milestones, deadlines, and measurable outcomes.

  • Partner with the CEO to establish organizational priorities, hold functional leaders accountable for commitments, and resolve competing priorities across Operations, Marketing, and Finance.

  • Own the company’s operating cadence, including weekly leadership meetings, scorecards, quarterly priorities, issue resolution, and follow-through on commitments.

  • Identify and resolve cross-functional obstacles, resource constraints, and execution gaps.

  • Keep the organization focused on its most important priorities and ensure initiatives deliver meaningful business results.

Leadership Development & Decision-Making
  • Develop leaders who independently diagnose performance gaps, make decisions, and deliver results within their areas of responsibility.

  • Set clear performance expectations and address missed commitments and persistent performance issues promptly.

  • Establish decision-making authority and escalation standards so routine operating issues are resolved at the appropriate level.

  • Coach operational leaders to help franchisees make effective business decisions while keeping ownership of execution and results with the franchisee.

  • Build a culture of accountability, practical problem-solving, and continuous improvement.

Systems, Training & Adoption
  • Oversee the development and improvement of operational systems, SOPs, and franchisee resources, including FFB’s Connect platform.

  • Streamline workflows, eliminate unnecessary complexity, and improve organizational efficiency.

  • Ensure training produces demonstrated competency, consistent adoption, and measurable improvements in sales performance and member fulfillment.

  • Lead the implementation and adoption of priority tools, processes, and performance improvement initiatives.

  • Measure whether systems and resources are being used effectively and adjust when they are not producing the intended results.

Qualifications
  • 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in multi-unit operations, franchise operations, or business operations.

  • Demonstrated success improving unit-level profitability, operational performance, and team accountability.

  • Experience managing and developing leaders across multiple locations or business units.

  • Strong financial understanding, including the ability to analyze center-level P&Ls, identify performance gaps, and drive corrective action.

  • Proven ability to translate strategy into execution and hold teams accountable across functional boundaries.

  • Experience simplifying processes and building scalable operating systems.

  • Strong organizational, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with EOS or a similar business operating framework preferred.

  • Experience in franchising, boutique fitness, wellness, or membership-based businesses strongly preferred.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first six months, success will include:

  • A functioning leadership scorecard, clear ownership of priorities, and consistent follow-through on commitments.

  • Focused improvement plans for underperforming centers, with documented progress against agreed targets.

  • Measurable improvements in company-owned center profitability and franchise operational performance.

  • Demonstrated adoption of priority sales and member fulfillment systems.

  • Operational leaders independently resolving routine issues, making decisions, and delivering results.

  • A clearly defined franchise support model that provides effective support while reinforcing franchisee responsibility.

  • An organization with clear priorities, fewer execution gaps, and a disciplined operating cadence.

Specific performance targets will be established with the CEO after reviewing current business baselines.

Who We’re Looking For

You can see the big picture and turn it into practical action. You bring structure without unnecessary bureaucracy, set clear expectations, and follow through.

You are comfortable analyzing center-level financial performance, coaching leaders, addressing difficult performance conversations, and resolving competing priorities. You know when to support, when to challenge, and when to make a decision.

You build teams that take ownership. When results fall short, you identify what can be changed, establish a focused plan, and ensure action follows.

Compensation

Base salary of $125,000–$135,000, plus a performance-based annual bonus, for total target compensation of $145,000–$162,000.

Bonus measures will be tied to agreed business outcomes the role can materially influence, including operational performance, profitability, leadership accountability, and execution of strategic priorities.
