Job Description

Description:

See the issue. Own the solution. Help keep extraordinary care running.

At Princeton Orthopaedic Associates (POA), outstanding patient care depends on safe, welcoming, well-maintained spaces. We’re looking for a resourceful, hands-on problem-solver to help maintain six clinical locations, coordinate trusted service partners, and bring practical solutions directly to our CEO.

Requirements:

What You’ll Do

  • Inspect facilities, spot problems early, complete appropriate minor repairs, and coordinate preventive maintenance.
  • Manage the facilities repair-request inbox: prioritize, track, communicate updates, and see issues through resolution.
  • Work with contractors, vendors, and leased-site property managers; obtain quotes and recommend cost-conscious solutions.
  • Oversee third-party cleaning service quality, monitor building supplies, and help keep our spaces safe and patient-ready.
  • Provide the CEO and site leaders with clear updates and recommendations on facility needs, risks, costs, and improvements.

What You Bring

2–4 years of building maintenance, facilities coordination, property operations, or related experience; working knowledge of basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical and building systems; sound judgment about when to involve licensed trades; strong organization, communication, and follow-through. Multi-site or healthcare experience is a plus. A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and travel among local POA sites are required. Role involves hands-on activity and occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodation as applicable.

Pay, Schedule & Benefits

Pay range: $28–$32 per hour, based on experience and qualifications. Initially 25–30 hours per week during weekday business hours, with potential to expand to 40 hours per week as business needs evolve. This is an hourly, non-exempt position.

POA, through OrthoNJ, offers benefits that may include medical, prescription, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid leave, and other programs.

Why POA?

For more than 50 years, Princeton Orthopaedic Associates—a division of OrthoNJ—has provided compassionate, patient-centered orthopaedic care across Central New Jersey. You’ll have visible impact, work with people who value teamwork and accountability, and help make extraordinary care possible behind the scenes.

Equal Employment Opportunity

POA, as a member organization of OrthoNJ, is an equal opportunity employer. Employment decisions are made without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable federal, state, or local law. Reasonable accommodations are available for qualified applicants and employees.
