AccountabilitiesIn this role, you will be responsible for business development, client relationship management, and delivering customized insurance solutions to commercial clients.
- Develop new business opportunities through networking, prospecting, and relationship-building strategies.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with existing clients by ensuring a high level of service quality and satisfaction.
- Identify client needs and recommend tailored commercial insurance solutions.
- Participate in and manage requests for proposals and tender processes when required.
- Develop placement strategies and present customized proposals to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure efficient management of accounts, billing, and service agreements.
- Contribute to risk management and claims strategy discussions when necessary.
- Monitor accounts receivable and ensure timely administrative follow-up.
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and industry partners.
We are looking for a client-focused business development professional with solid experience in commercial insurance and account management.
- College diploma in a related field.
- Valid AMF license in commercial property and casualty insurance required.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in commercial insurance or account management.
- Fluency in both English and French, written and spoken.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and paperless work environments.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
- Team-oriented mindset with strong autonomy and initiative.
- Knowledge of EPIC software is considered an asset.
