Job Description

Creative Strategist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Creative Strategist based in the United States.

This is an opportunity for a performance-driven creative strategist to own the full lifecycle of direct-response advertising across major paid media channels. You will turn customer insights, performance data, and market research into high-converting creative concepts and scripts. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, with a significant focus on direct-response storytelling, scripting, and creative iteration. You will collaborate closely with media buying, product, CRO, and supply chain teams to ensure creative decisions support broader business goals. An AI-first approach is encouraged to accelerate research, ideation, scripting, and testing. This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment where ownership, experimentation, compliance, and measurable results are highly valued.

Accountabilities
  • Own the end-to-end creative strategy process, from competitive research and angle development through scripting, visual briefing, asset coordination, and performance analysis across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Ads, and other relevant channels.
  • Produce a consistent volume of detailed creative briefs, targeting approximately 3–6 briefs per week for primary products and 2–4 briefs per week for secondary products to maintain a strong testing pipeline.
  • Develop line-by-line direct-response video scripts incorporating voiceover, visual directions, text-on-screen, storytelling structures, hooks, and calls to action for editors and UGC creators.
  • Create compelling narratives and pattern interrupts designed to capture attention within the first few seconds and drive continued engagement and conversion.
  • Translate complex supplement and wellness product information into clear, consumer-friendly marketing angles while maintaining appropriate FTC and FDA advertising standards.
  • Use AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or similar technologies to accelerate concept development, scripting, storyboarding, research, and creative iteration.
  • Design modular testing strategies by developing variations of hooks, body copy, visual pacing, CTAs, and other creative elements to combat fatigue and scale winning concepts.
  • Analyze performance metrics including Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CVR, and CPA to identify creative bottlenecks, retire underperforming concepts, and expand successful ones.
  • Maintain close feedback loops with media buyers to align creative development with live campaign performance, audience insights, and account priorities.
  • Collaborate with product and CRO teams on product launches, messaging frameworks, pre-sell pages, and offer angles while providing strategic creative input.
  • Coordinate creative testing and scaling with inventory and supply chain considerations to avoid inefficient ad spend on products with limited availability.
  • Maintain organized creative workflows, briefs, timelines, and assets using project management, storage, and collaboration tools.
  • Continuously improve creative systems and workflows, including the development of AI-assisted and modular testing pipelines that increase speed, quality, and scalability.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in direct-response creative strategy and scripting, preferably within a DTC e-commerce environment.
  • Demonstrated experience scaling health, wellness, supplement, vitamin, nutraceutical, or related consumer brands through high-volume UGC and direct-response advertising.
  • Strong direct-response copywriting and storytelling abilities, with the ability to create compelling hooks, narratives, pattern interrupts, and conversion-focused scripts.
  • Hands-on experience developing creative for Meta and TikTok, with additional experience across YouTube, Google Ads, or other paid media channels strongly valued.
  • Strong understanding of creative performance metrics such as Hook Rate, Hold Rate, CTR, CVR, and CPA, with the ability to translate data into actionable creative decisions.
  • Working knowledge of FTC and FDA requirements for dietary supplement and wellness advertising, including the ability to distinguish compliant benefit and structure/function messaging from higher-risk claims.
  • Ability to simplify complex product formulations, mechanisms, or scientific concepts into engaging consumer-facing marketing narratives.
  • Experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Higgsfield, or similar platforms for creative ideation, scripting, storyboarding, and workflow acceleration.
  • Hands-on familiarity with Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud sufficient to make quick creative adjustments and evaluate design quality.
  • Experience working with platforms and tools such as Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Google Ads, Dropbox, Google Workspace, and creative research or analytics platforms.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with familiarity with tools such as ClickUp, Asana, or Monday.com preferred.
  • Ability to work independently, move quickly, manage a high-volume creative pipeline, and take full ownership of outcomes.
  • Highly coachable, collaborative, detail-oriented, and comfortable receiving direct feedback in a fast-moving, low-ego environment.
  • Strong analytical judgment and a willingness to experiment, iterate, and continuously improve creative based on evidence.
  • Ability to work hours overlapping with standard business operations across U.S. time zones.
  • Comfortable working remotely with a reliable computer, high-speed internet connection, and distraction-free workspace.
  • Willingness to accommodate limited required travel.
  • Experience in leadership is a plus, although this is an individual contributor, non-leadership position.
Benefits
  • Full-time W-2 employment.
  • Annual salary of $82,000–$102,000 USD, depending on experience and candidate location.
  • 15 days of paid time off per year.
  • 10 paid U.S. holidays annually.
  • Comprehensive healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) plan with company matching.
  • Exclusive employee product discounts.
  • Fully remote work environment for U.S.-based team members.
  • Opportunity to work in a high-growth environment with significant ownership and autonomy.
  • Exposure to modern AI-powered creative workflows, performance marketing systems, and direct-response experimentation.
  • Collaborative culture focused on continuous improvement, direct feedback, high standards, and measurable impact.
  • Limited travel requirements while maintaining a primarily remote working model.
