You will be responsible for building and scaling a newly created alliance function, turning a key technology partnership into a measurable revenue and pipeline engine. Acting as both strategist and operator, you will work closely with sales, marketing, product, and channel teams to embed joint go-to-market motions and co-sell initiatives. Accountabilities

In this role, you will take full ownership of the Microsoft alliance strategy while driving tangible commercial outcomes across pipeline, revenue, and ecosystem expansion. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Owning and developing the end-to-end Microsoft partnership strategy, ensuring alignment with co-sell readiness, executive relationships, and growth objectives.
  • Driving co-sell motions with Microsoft field teams to generate qualified pipeline and accelerate deal velocity through to closed revenue.
  • Activating and optimizing Microsoft programs such as MACC, Marketplace initiatives, MDF, and ISV Success to increase commercial impact.
  • Building and executing joint go-to-market initiatives with marketing teams, including campaigns, field events, and co-branded programs.
  • Expanding presence within the Microsoft partner ecosystem, including CSPs, MSPs, and SIs, to improve adoption and attachment rates.
  • Acting as the internal expert on Microsoft ecosystem priorities, translating changes in strategy and AI-driven initiatives into actionable business opportunities.
  • Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on partnership performance metrics such as co-sell pipeline, revenue influence, and marketplace activity to inform leadership decisions.
Requirements

This role requires a seasoned partnerships professional with deep expertise in the Microsoft ecosystem and a strong ability to drive cross-functional execution. The ideal candidate will bring:

  • 10+ years of experience working within or alongside the Microsoft partner ecosystem.
  • Strong expertise in co-sell models, Microsoft Marketplace dynamics, and partner program structures.
  • Deep understanding of MACC agreements, ISV programs, and Microsoft commercial frameworks.
  • Established network within Microsoft, including field teams, partner development managers, and ecosystem stakeholders.
  • Proven experience building and managing strategic technology partnerships that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to influence sales, marketing, and product teams.
  • Highly action-oriented mindset with comfort navigating ambiguity and building from the ground up.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills at both operational and executive levels.
Benefits
  • Competitive total compensation package with an OTE range of $175K–$225K CAD.
  • Flexible work environment supporting autonomy and work-life balance.
  • Opportunity to build and own a strategic alliance function from inception.
  • High-impact role with direct influence on revenue growth and go-to-market strategy.
  • Collaborative, cross-functional culture working with experienced product, sales, and marketing teams.
  • Exposure to global Microsoft ecosystem programs and enterprise-scale partnerships.
  • Career development opportunities within a fast-growing, product-led technology environment.
  • Inclusive and supportive workplace culture focused on experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
