Position Summary:
The Warehouse Coordinator, 2nd Shift supports the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of the Shipping and Receiving docks. This position coordinates daily shipping and receiving activities, provides work direction and training to warehouse team members, monitors staffing and equipment needs, and helps ensure customer orders are completed accurately and on schedule. The Warehouse Coordinator works closely with Warehouse leadership and other departments to maintain product flow, quality, food safety, housekeeping, and operational standards.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate daily shipping and receiving schedules, including break coverage, loading and unloading times, trailer movement, rework, attainment to standard, housekeeping, and equipment uptime.
· Help ensure customer orders are picked, staged, loaded, received, and documented accurately while meeting quality, food safety, and delivery requirements.
· Provide daily work direction to Warehouse employees, communicate priorities, and assist with training and cross-training as needed.
· Monitor staffing levels against the Shipping and Receiving schedule and promptly communicate staffing or personnel concerns to Warehouse leadership.
· Monitor Warehouse trainees and help ensure weekly training reviews are completed on time, documented accurately, and effectively.
· Promote safe dock and warehouse operations by reinforcing required procedures, addressing unsafe conditions, and immediately reporting accidents, injuries, product damage, or near misses to a supervisor.
· Maintain open communication with Production, Quality, Customer Service, Transportation, Maintenance, and other departments to support production and shipping requirements.
· Complete shipping, receiving, inventory, production, and training documentation accurately and on time.
· Monitor forklifts, racks, dock doors, dock equipment, trailers, and related warehouse equipment; promptly notify a supervisor of damage, defects, or needed repairs.
· Ensure required forklift and equipment inspections are completed and documented daily before use.
· Operate a spotter truck and safely move trailers into and out of dock doors to support the efficient flow of Shipping and Receiving schedules.
· Assist with inventory accuracy by following product identification, rotation, location, lot control, and documentation requirements.
· Maintain clean, organized, and inspection-ready warehouse and dock areas in accordance with housekeeping, food safety, and sanitation expectations.
· Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, quality, food safety, security, attendance, and confidentiality requirements.
· Perform other duties assigned to support Warehouse operations.
Minimum Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED preferred.
· Warehouse, shipping, receiving, distribution, or related manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing or cold-storage experience preferred.
· Current forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience safely operating powered industrial trucks in a warehouse environment.
· Demonstrated ability to provide work direction, train employees, communicate expectations, and support team accountability.
· Ability to read and understand shipping documents, bills of lading, schedules, product labels, inventory records, and operating procedures.
· Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately enter or retrieve information in warehouse, inventory, shipping, or business systems.
· Strong communication, organization, prioritization, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work effectively with employees and leaders within and outside the department and to handle sensitive or confidential information appropriately.
· Ability to work in varying cold temperatures, approximately -10°F to 40°F, and in a refrigerated or freezer warehouse environment.
· Ability to frequently stand, walk, bend, stoop, reach, climb, push, pull, and lift or move up to 70 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
· Ability to work flexible hours, including voluntary and mandatory overtime, weekends, and schedule changes based on business needs.
· Ability to safely operate a spotter truck and move trailers in and out of dock doors.

Competitive base salary ($27.08/hourly). Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Full benefits package, including medical/ vision/ dental/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
