Join TAG in supporting the administrative readiness of a Naval Special Warfare mission. This role offers the opportunity to use Navy personnel, pay, correspondence, records, and security-access experience to ensure the command’s administrative processes remain accurate, timely, and secure.

*This position is contingent upon contract award.

Overview

The Ascendancy Group is seeking a Programmatic Administration Support Specialist to provide on-site personnel, pay, security-access, correspondence, document-control, and administrative support to the U.S. Naval Special Warfare Fleet Integration Team in Virginia Beach, Virginia. The Specialist will support accurate, timely, secure, and compliant administrative operations for command personnel and leadership.

Security Requirement:

An active U.S. Government Secret security clearance is required before the start date and must be maintained throughout employment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Draft, format, review, route, track, and maintain official correspondence, reports, memoranda, personnel actions, and administrative deliverables in accordance with command procedures and the Department of the Navy Correspondence Manual.

• Maintain secure digital and physical files, records, trackers, rosters, and document repositories; ensure version control, retention, accuracy, and appropriate handling of sensitive information.

• Process and track Visit Authorization Requests using DISS or successor systems; support visitor control, contractor access, onboarding, offboarding, and site-access roster management.

• Provide Sailor pay and personnel administrative support using applicable Standard Operating Procedures, the CPPA Toolbox, PAYPERS references, and Government-approved systems.

• Review personnel and pay documentation for completeness, accuracy, required signatures, and supporting attachments before routing to appropriate Transaction Service Centers, Regional Support Centers, or command stakeholders.

• Maintain working familiarity with authorized Navy/DoD personnel and pay resources, such as NSIPS, FLTMPS, BOL, MMPA, MyNavy HR, Salesforce, and other Government-designated systems, as access permits.

• Attend required CPPA and command administrative training and maintain current knowledge of applicable procedures.

• Protect PII and other sensitive information; promptly report suspected or confirmed privacy incidents to appropriate command and TAG points of contact.

• Coordinate professionally with Sailors, command leadership, Government staff, contractors, service providers, and administrative partners.

Requirements:

• U.S. citizen with an active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required before start date.

• Minimum two years of administrative, personnel, pay, security-access, command-support, or program-support experience in a Navy, DoD, federal, or comparable high-accountability environment.

• Demonstrated experience drafting and routing formal correspondence, maintaining administrative records, tracking actions, and handling sensitive information.

• Working knowledge of Navy pay/personnel processes, CPPA functions, or comparable military/federal personnel-administration support.

• Ability to process VARs in DISS or similar Government security-access systems, subject to receipt of required system access and training.

• Experience with NSIPS, FLTMPS, BOL, MMPA, MyNavy HR, Salesforce, or comparable systems is preferred.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Strong written communication, attention to detail, customer-service, records-management, and PII-protection skills.

• Valid U.S. driver’s license.
