Position Summary
MARTIN Technologies is seeking a highly organized, technology-driven Manufacturing Operations & Process Coordinator to support manufacturing operations, improve production processes, and enhance operational efficiency within our Toledo facility.
This role is ideal for someone who is exceptionally computer savvy, enjoys working with technology, has strong CAD and 3D printing experience, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The successful candidate will coordinate daily operational activities, improve manufacturing processes, develop production documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with operations, quality, customers, and leadership.

The successful candidate will coordinate daily operational activities, improve manufacturing processes, develop production documentation, and support continuous improvement initiatives while working closely with operations, quality, customers, and leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily manufacturing and operational activities across the facility.
- Develop, implement, and maintain standardized operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions.
- Create and maintain production reports, dashboards, spreadsheets, and operational documentation.
- Analyze production data and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and quality.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and best manufacturing practices.
- Design, modify, and maintain manufacturing fixtures, layouts, and production support tools using CAD software.
- Operate and maintain 3D printers to produce prototypes, fixtures, tooling, and production aids.
- Utilize AI-powered tools and digital technologies to improve workflows, reporting, and operational efficiency.
- Coordinate with operations, quality, engineering, business development, and customer teams to support production goals.
- Assist with workflow improvements, facility organization, and manufacturing process optimization.
- Support customer production programs and onsite operational activities.
- Maintain accurate production records and process documentation.
- Participate in root cause investigations and corrective action activities.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and customer requirements.
- Perform other operational support duties as assigned.
- Associate degree in Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Mechanical Technology, CAD Design, Drafting Technology, Product Design, Advanced Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, production coordination, industrial operations, or process improvement.
- Expert-level computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Strong experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, or similar.
- Hands-on experience with 3D printing equipment and additive manufacturing processes.
- Experience creating technical drawings, fixtures, tooling, and production documentation.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
- Experience supporting quality systems and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience using Microsoft Power BI, Power Automate, or similar reporting tools.
- Experience using AI tools to improve productivity, reporting, documentation, and process efficiency.
- Experience with ERP or manufacturing software systems.
- Knowledge of 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and process improvement methodologies.
- Experience supporting automotive manufacturing or supplier operations.
