Hydraulic Cylinder Technicians at DNC Hydraulics LLC – Rawson, Ohio

Position Overview:
The Hydraulic Cylinder Technician is responsible for the repair, inspection, and testing of hydraulic cylinders, accumulators, and swivels. This role requires strong mechanical aptitude, precise measurement skills, and the ability to follow technical documentation and procedures. The technician ensures all components meet tolerance and safety standards while maintaining an organized, efficient workspace. Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks are essential for success in this position.

Cylinder Technician Responsibilities:

• Disassemble and assemble hydraulic cylinders, accumulators, and swivels.
• Measure components using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools to ensure tolerances are met.
• Inspect components for wear, damage, and overall condition.
• Identify seal types and accurately measure seal grooves.
• Perform pressure testing on hydraulic components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Properly maintain tools and equipment provided for the position.

Cylinder Technician Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools and shop equipment.
• Ability to read measurements, calipers, micrometers, and technical drawings.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to recognize and communicate issues.
• Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
• Excellent attention to detail and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 40 lbs. and standing/walking for more than 7 hours per shift.
