Job Title: Maintenance Technician 2nd shift 3 pm - 1:30 am
Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Engineering Manager
Required Education: Technical electric/pneumatic/hydraulic experience; Degree or equivalent
Summary:
The Maintenance Technician reports to the Engineering Manager to operate the specified plant works, equipment installations and maintenance in accordance with the defined rules.
Required Skills/Knowledge / experience:
- Industrial facilities:
- Building structures and peripherals
- Energy distribution rules (electric, gas, vacuum, air pressure….)
- Climatization, light, extractions, evacuations, IT network
- Manufacturing Equipment / tooling:
- Mechanical and functional conception
- Parameters
- Main Software functions
- Training in technical, mechanical, computer and electronics
- Health and Security rules, environmental rules
- Knowledge of industrial and quality culture
- Resolving technical problems
- Problem-solving methodology
Required Duties/Tasks to be accomplished:
- Maintenance:
- Maintenance plan following and realization, operator training
- Production lines drawings participation
- Equipment’s positioning and connections
- Repair interventions
- Building Infrastructure:
- Perform the action plan to maintain the plant functionalities
- Specifications, Drawings, safety and environmental rules followng
- Provide day-to-day support
- Filling data base after completion of these tasks and prepare reports
- Extensive day-to-day technical autonomy; make process development decisions together with the manager
Language Skills:
- The ability to read, write & comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group settings.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Physical Demands:
- Handling of chemicals
- Risks related to some equipment (e.g. burns from wave soldering, reflow)
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations

- Position requires bending, standing, stooping, walking, lifting.
- Noise Levels are generally quiet, but noise levels can rise to those associated with a production environment. Work pace is steady but can be fast paced at times.

Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred
2–5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
Ability to troubleshoot and repair production equipment
Experience with preventive maintenance programs
Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
Basic computer skills for maintenance records and reporting
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Knowledge of workplace safety procedures
Ability to work overtime or different shifts when needed
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues
Minimize equipment downtime
Inspect machines and identify potential problems
Maintain maintenance logs and records
Support production teams with equipment issues
Follow safety and quality standards
Assist with installation of new equipment and machinery
