We are currently seeking a full-time General Accounting Clerk to join our team at Steve Marshall Ford in Campbell River, BC, working out of our Head Office. This is a stable opportunity within a supportive and collaborative environment, ideal for someone looking to grow their accounting career within an established and expanding organization.
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented individual to support our accounting team with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, reconciliations, vehicle deal posting, and general administrative duties related to the role.
This position supports multiple dealerships within the Group and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can effectively manage multiple priorities.
Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processing
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Vehicle deal posting and verification
- Assisting with month-end procedures and reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
- General administrative duties as required
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
- Strong understanding of AP/AR processes and reconciliations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace required
- Experience with PBS automotive systems is considered an asset
- Bookkeeping certificate preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
