The Strategic Operations Director will lead strategic initiatives that strengthen operational performance, executive alignment, and business transformation. This role will partner with senior leaders to develop strategies, improve governance, and ensure priorities are translated into measurable outcomes.
- Lead enterprise strategic planning processes, including the development of strategic visions, priorities, and messaging for key initiatives.
- Partner with executive leadership to design and implement strategies aligned with organizational goals and growth objectives.
- Establish and manage operating rhythms, including leadership meetings, business reviews, strategic discussions, and follow-up actions.
- Drive cross-functional alignment through governance structures, shared service initiatives, and dependency management.
- Monitor market trends, competitive activity, industry developments, and emerging opportunities to provide actionable business insights.
- Analyze organizational performance metrics and develop reporting frameworks that support data-driven decision-making.
- Coordinate quarterly goal setting, performance tracking, and strategic execution across teams.
- Provide executive-level support through research, analysis, presentations, and recommendations that inform critical decisions.
- Support business transformation initiatives, including organizational changes, mergers and acquisitions, and infrastructure planning.
- Develop communication strategies, leadership presentations, and stakeholder materials that reinforce strategic priorities.
- Build strong relationships with internal leaders, external partners, vendors, regulators, and key stakeholders.
- Support crisis management planning and provide guidance during periods of organizational change or challenge.
The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in strategic operations, business transformation, executive support, or related leadership functions. This role requires strong business judgment, analytical capability, and the ability to influence across complex organizations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Strategy, Management, or a related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, strategic operations, consulting, chief of staff functions, or business transformation roles.
- 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams or enterprise-level initiatives.
- Proven experience leading strategic planning, governance processes, and cross-functional programs.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing executive-level presentations.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities.
- Ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across diverse teams.
- Experience supporting executive decision-making through research, insights, and operational frameworks.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and high-impact initiatives.
- Ability to operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $179,000 – $185,000.
