The Infringement Manager will lead a specialized team responsible for protecting creators, content integrity, and platform trust.
This role combines people leadership, operational excellence, and deep expertise in copyright and digital rights enforcement.
You will oversee complex claims, improve workflows, and ensure consistent decision-making across sensitive cases.
Working closely with legal, operations, creator support, and technical teams, you will help shape scalable enforcement strategies.

The Infringement Manager is responsible for managing daily infringement operations, guiding a team of specialists, and ensuring high-quality handling of copyright, trademark, and impersonation claims. This role requires strong leadership, operational judgment, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams to improve enforcement processes.
- Lead and support a team of Infringement Specialists through coaching, performance management, training, and ongoing development.
- Oversee infringement case queues across multiple categories, ensuring accurate, consistent, and timely resolution of claims.
- Provide operational guidance through team check-ins, case reviews, escalations, and quality evaluations.
- Partner with legal stakeholders to manage sensitive or high-risk cases and ensure decisions align with applicable policies and legal requirements.
- Collaborate with quality, creator support, engineering, fraud, finance, and operations teams to improve workflows and strengthen prevention strategies.
- Review complex and high-impact cases, providing expertise and recommendations to maintain enforcement consistency.
- Monitor team performance metrics, establish KPIs, identify trends, and use data insights to improve operational effectiveness.
- Develop and refine documentation, processes, and tools that support scalable enforcement operations.
- Drive onboarding programs, knowledge sharing, and continuous learning initiatives for team members.
- Stay current on copyright, trademark, digital rights management, and online platform enforcement trends to improve practices and outcomes.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in digital rights enforcement, trust and safety, legal operations, or related fields, combined with proven people management capabilities and strong analytical skills.
- 7+ years of experience in copyright enforcement, digital rights management, trust & safety, content moderation, legal operations, or a related discipline.
- Significant experience working within music, digital media, content distribution, or online platform environments.
- 3+ years of experience managing teams, including coaching, performance development, and building high-performing operational groups.
- Strong knowledge of DMCA processes, copyright and trademark enforcement, takedown procedures, and digital rights management practices.
- Excellent investigative abilities, attention to detail, and critical-thinking skills when handling complex or sensitive cases.
- Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear documentation and collaborate effectively across departments.
- Experience using operational, workflow, and documentation tools such as Airtable, Google Workspace, Zendesk, Confluence, or similar platforms.
- Data-driven mindset with experience improving processes, optimizing workflows, and using insights to improve operational outcomes.
- Collaborative and proactive approach with a passion for protecting creators and applying policies fairly and consistently.
- Competitive annual salary range based on location:
- USA Tier 1 locations: $110,000 - $120,000 USD
- USA Tier 2 locations: $105,000 - $115,000 USD
- USA Tier 3 locations: $100,000 - $110,000 USD
