This role sits at the core of a global finance function, combining strategic oversight with hands-on leadership in cost accounting and supply chain finance. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimizing inventory and receivables performance, and strengthening internal controls across complex operational environments. Acting as a key business partner to operations, purchasing, and commercial teams, you will help translate financial data into actionable business insights. The position also plays a central role in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, directly influencing decision-making at the leadership level. Working within a collaborative and international setting, you will lead a small finance team while partnering with auditors and cross-functional stakeholders. This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who thrives in both analytical depth and operational leadership.
In this role, you will oversee end-to-end cost accounting and financial performance management, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strategic alignment across supply chain activities. You will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lead a team within a dynamic finance environment.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting with a focus on supply chain, inventory, and accounts receivable performance
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis processes to support strategic decision-making
- Partner with purchasing, operations, and warehouse teams to improve demand planning and financial efficiency
- Monitor and optimize key financial KPIs such as inventory turnover and receivables performance
- Develop and maintain robust internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors during financial reviews and audits
- Mentor and support finance team members while driving process improvements
The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise combined with leadership capabilities and a deep understanding of operational finance in a manufacturing or supply chain context.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive experience in finance or cost accounting roles
- Strong expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and strong analytical capabilities
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP is an asset
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across functions and levels
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and capable of working independently while contributing to team success
