About the Role:

As a Controlling Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the financial health and operational efficiency of the organization by providing accurate and timely financial analysis and reporting. You will be responsible for monitoring budgets, forecasting financial performance, and identifying variances to support strategic decision-making. This role requires close collaboration with various departments to gather data, analyze trends, and implement effective cost control measures. Your insights will directly influence business planning and resource allocation, helping to optimize profitability and sustain growth. Ultimately, you will serve as a key partner in driving financial discipline and transparency across the company.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in financial controlling, accounting, or financial analysis roles in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and budgeting processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Access, Word, Excel and SAP.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Must have a high level of moral and ethical codes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a multinational corporation or complex organizational environment.
  • Advanced skills in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and internal control frameworks.
  • Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to track performance against budgets and forecasts.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning activities.
  • Identify and investigate variances between actual results and budgeted figures, providing actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial data and ensure accuracy in reporting.
  • Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to inquiries related to financial controls.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to management for continuous improvement.

Skills:

The required skills enable the Controlling Specialist to efficiently analyze financial data, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders. Proficiency in Excel and SAP is essential for managing large datasets and automating routine tasks, which increases accuracy and productivity. Analytical skills are used daily to interpret financial trends, identify discrepancies, and recommend corrective actions that support business objectives. Strong communication skills facilitate collaboration with various departments and ensure that complex financial information is accessible to non-financial colleagues.
