Job Description
Wec are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bookkeeper / Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is equally comfortable managing financial records and providing an excellent customer experience. You will play a key role in keeping our financials accurate while being the first point of contact for customers.
Key ResponsibilitiesBookkeeping Duties- Manage daily financial transactions including invoices, payments, and deposits
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements
- Maintain accurate records in accounting software (QuickBooks or similar)
- Process accounts payable and receivable
- Assist with payroll entries and expense tracking
- Generate financial reports and assist with month-end close
- Ensure compliance with company policies and basic accounting standards
- Answer incoming calls and assist customers with scheduling and questions
- Greet customers and provide a professional, friendly first impression
- Communicate repair updates and timelines clearly
- Coordinate with technicians and estimators to ensure smooth workflow
- Handle customer concerns and resolve issues in a timely manner
- Assist with insurance-related communication when needed
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks preferred)
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in an automotive or collision repair setting is a plus (not required)
- Professional and friendly demeanor
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Dependable and trustworthy with financial information
