ED Emergency Department Tech at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

MEDICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Come work as an Emergency Department Technician in our 29 bed unit at WKB! Duties include: Stocking supplies, cleaning stretchers, rooms and equipment, foley catheter placement; placing patients on the monitor; obtaining vital signs; transporting patients; splinting; attending the physician; suture set up; instrument cleaning; tray wrapping; assisting with exams; performing drug screens; breath alcohol tests; glucose screening; and much more. You will seek direction and report directly to the charge nurse on your shift. Punctuality, dependability and excellent work ethic are the three primary considerations for employment. Experience is preferred, but more importantly is the candidate who values customer service and exhibits a positive attitude!
