Emergency Department Tech in Shreveport, Louisiana at Willis-Knighton Health System

MEDICAL EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Come work as an Emergency Department Technician in our fast paced 23 bed unit. Duties include: Stocking supplies and linen; cleaning stretchers, rooms and equipment; making up stretchers; performing EKG's; foley catheter placement; placing patients on the monitor; obtaining vital signs; transporting patients; splinting; attending the physician; suture set up; instrument cleaning; assisting with exams; performing drug screens; breath alcohol tests; glucose screening; and much more. A great attendance record and work ethic is a must. Must be able to come to work on time. The shift begins at 06:45 a.m. and ends at 07:15 p.m.
