Accounts Receivable Clerk at David Dodge Llc – Glen Mills, Pennsylvania

We are hiring a full time Accounts Receivable Clerk. Main duties will be to records payments to customer accounts and maintains all accounts receivable records. Takes appropriate collection action on accounts more than 30 days old. Reconciles and deposits all monies received by the dealership.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Essential Duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Reconciles and deposits service and parts receipts, including charge cards, on a daily basis.

Receipts all monies received from vehicle sales, factory receivables, warranties, checks for money due, and updates reporting systems.

Enters finalized cash receipts and updates accounts receivable ledger by customer.

Scans all cash receipt records, deposits, check stubs, bank receipts and any additional; items.

Prepares cash deposits and files 8300 forms when applicable

Reconciles statements and follows up collections as necessary.

Prepares accounts receivable statements monthly.

Processes daily credit card deposits.

Researches and processes charge backs, returns, and bad checks.

Pulls original vehicle invoices for payoff by office manager.

Passes trade payoffs to office manager.

Answers accounts receivable phone calls and follows up on inquiries.

Updates customers' account information.

Maintains a monthly holdback list for the office manager.

Inputs new vehicles into the computer system as directed by the office manager.

Reports sold units through the factory reporting system. Maintains accurate delivery records.

Posts fuel credits on a daily basis and reconciles the fuel schedule.

Cross-trains others for this position as directed by management.

Fills in for other administrative positions as needed and directed by management.

Assists with related special projects as required.

Maintains a professional appearance and neat work area.
