About This Position
We’re seeking a chef who cooks from the heart.
Campground Kitchen is a neighbourhood restaurant in Melbourne’s west with a love for Euro-style cooking, pasta made with care, handcrafted pizza, and woodfired food. We have a warm, generous approach to service. Born from our award-winning catering company Happy Camper Pizza, our warehouse restaurant is always evolving. We’re looking for a Sous Chef to be part of its next chapter.
We’re more than just a restaurant. We’re a values-led, community-focused business that cares deeply about our team, our customers, and the suppliers we choose to work with. We champion Victorian small-batch producers, from artisan cheese makers to boutique wineries, and feature handmade, quality ingredients that tell a story.
Our food is simple, seasonal, and all about flavour. We let quality ingredients shine, whether it’s a slow-braised ragu or a perfect pizza crust. We’d love a chef shares our passion for quality food, thrives on creativity, and is excited to help us grow - happy to explore BBQ and smoker cooking, special dinners, events, and collaborations, and keeping our offering fresh and inspiring.
