This is a senior product leadership opportunity focused on shaping the strategy and evolution of a large-scale developer platform.
You will treat foundational infrastructure, APIs, tooling, and services as products designed around the needs of internal developers.
The role combines long-term product vision with hands-on execution across cloud platforms, developer experience, deployment, and operational capabilities.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, security, design, and product leaders to establish scalable and self-service experiences.
A major focus will be reducing developer friction, accelerating delivery, and transforming reactive platform support into proactive product experiences.
You will use research, adoption data, reliability metrics, and developer feedback to guide priorities and demonstrate measurable impact.
This role is ideal for a visionary product leader who can influence at executive level while remaining deeply connected to customer and technical details.
- Define and own a multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap for foundational developer platform services, balancing scalability, technical debt, reliability, and feature velocity.
- Lead the transformation of platform capabilities from reactive, ticket-based support into scalable self-service experiences through paved roads, service catalogs, and developer tooling.
- Establish product management practices for internal infrastructure, including user research, roadmap planning, KPI definition, prioritization, and continuous feedback loops.
- Partner with Engineering, Architecture, Security, Design, and other product leaders to ensure platform solutions are extensible, secure, compliant, and aligned with developer needs.
- Drive improvements across APIs, SDKs, sandbox environments, deployment systems, developer portals, documentation, and other capabilities that reduce cognitive load and accelerate time-to-first-deploy.
- Develop compelling product narratives that communicate the value and strategic importance of the developer platform while driving adoption across the organization.
- Establish governance frameworks and KPI dashboards covering platform adoption, support deflection, developer productivity, reliability, and other relevant performance indicators.
- Use developer interviews, usage data, and customer insights to identify root causes, prioritize high-impact opportunities, and improve the overall developer experience.
- Act as a strategic voice for platform capabilities across the organization, ensuring stakeholder requirements are understood and incorporated into product planning.
- Drive meaningful organizational change by connecting long-term platform strategy with measurable customer, developer, and business outcomes.
- 12+ years of product management experience building large-scale cloud service platforms, including experience with cloud-native commerce systems or other complex, usage-based and metered products.
- 10+ years of people management experience, with a demonstrated ability to recruit, develop, retain, and lead high-performing product management teams.
- Proven track record of establishing ambitious goals, delivering strong results, and taking ownership of customer and business outcomes.
- Significant experience leading organizations through transformational or industry-changing initiatives while maintaining a balance between strategic vision and hands-on execution.
- Deep understanding of platform-as-a-product principles, including user research, product roadmapping, KPI development, internal customer discovery, and adoption strategies.
- Strong technical fluency across cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD, observability, APIs, SDKs, and developer tooling.
- Proven ability to identify developer pain points and create self-service solutions such as developer portals, golden paths, service catalogs, and documentation systems.
- Exceptional executive presence and communication skills, with the ability to articulate product value, influence senior stakeholders, and drive organizational alignment.
- Highly data-driven and outcomes-oriented, with experience using adoption, reliability, productivity, and performance metrics to guide product decisions.
- Strong customer focus and a demonstrated ability to translate customer and developer needs into scalable product strategies.
- Experience building or scaling large, mission-critical software services, such as commerce platforms or comparable enterprise systems.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent professional experience.
- Willingness to travel approximately 15% to build relationships with customers, colleagues, and cross-functional partners.
- This role is remote within the United States but is not available for hiring in the Bay Area or Seattle area.

- Paid sick time and paid personal time off.
- Paid parental leave and generous wellness and time-off programs.
- Remote-first work environment with opportunities for in-person team gatherings, functional off-sites, and customer meetings.
- Opportunities to support volunteering, community initiatives, and positive social impact.
- A culture that encourages innovation, ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Commitment to equal opportunity, inclusion, and reasonable accommodations throughout the employment experience.
