This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform Architect based in the United States.
As a Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform Architect, you will lead the design and delivery of enterprise CRM and case management solutions for clients with complex business needs.
You will work across the full implementation lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
The role combines technical architecture, client advisory, solution design, data strategy, and hands-on collaboration with development teams.
You will translate complex technical requirements into practical solutions, user flows, system architectures, prototypes, and implementation plans.
You’ll serve as a trusted technical partner to clients while helping project teams manage risks, improve delivery quality, and reduce technical debt.
The position offers exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, integrations, customizations, data migration, and modern development practices.
This is a consulting-focused opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys solving complex problems and creating measurable outcomes for clients.
- Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform solutions aligned with client business and technical requirements.
- Guide technical teams in designing and delivering case management and other enterprise business solutions within defined timelines.
- Lead Dynamics CRM implementations across the full project lifecycle, including discovery, definition, build, testing, deployment, and ongoing improvement.
- Gather, analyze, and translate technical and business requirements into scalable solution architectures and implementation plans.
- Lead data-centric discussions with clients during discovery sessions and translate findings into actionable technical requirements.
- Collaborate closely with clients, Project Leads, Developers, Business Analysts, and other stakeholders to ensure high-quality project outcomes.
- Design integrations, customizations, and extensions for Dynamics 365 and related business applications.
- Define technical specifications and architecture for custom code, data migration, integrations, and other solution requirements.
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, system diagrams, prototypes, and other technical design artifacts.
- Prepare and deliver tailored demonstrations of proposed technology solutions to clients and stakeholders.
- Refine project specifications and develop detailed technical solution designs and implementation plans.
- Improve development, testing, and release processes by developing tools, frameworks, and practices that support consistent, high-quality delivery.
- Identify technical risks, architectural issues, and technical debt, and develop strategies to prevent, mitigate, and resolve them.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance throughout project delivery while maintaining alignment with client objectives.
- Travel to customer locations for demonstrations, meetings, and project activities when required.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Bachelor’s degree or U.S.-equivalent degree.
- At least 7 years of professional experience.
- At least 4 years of experience implementing and managing enterprise-level CRM solutions, specifically Microsoft Dynamics CRM or Dynamics 365.
- Demonstrated experience evaluating, designing, and implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 business solutions.
- Hands-on experience developing and deploying business applications using Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform.
- Experience working directly with clients to understand requirements and guide successful technology implementations.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, accessible business language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and solution-design capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across technical and business teams.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and travel to multiple customer locations as needed.
- Ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment is preferred.
- Experience supporting case management systems is a plus.
- Experience delivering client-facing demonstrations and presentations is a plus.
- Experience creating user flows, wireframes, system diagrams, and prototypes is a plus.
- Experience with data migration requirements and custom code implementations is a plus.
- Experience improving development, testing, and release processes through tools and frameworks is a plus.
- Familiarity with C#, SQL, .NET, and related development technologies is advantageous.
- Annual salary range of $122,000–$203,000, with final compensation determined by factors including skills, experience, training, certifications, security clearances, licensure, and organizational needs.
