Job Description

Job Title: Warehouse AssociatePosition Summary:

The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations for a telecommunications company by receiving, organizing, staging, and distributing materials, tools, and equipment. This role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient order fulfillment, and timely support for field crews and project teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments of telecom materials and equipment
  • Pick, pack, and stage orders for field crews and project sites
  • Load and unload trucks using proper safety procedures and equipment (forklift, pallet jack, etc.)
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
  • Organize and label stock to ensure proper storage and easy retrieval
  • Prepare materials for job sites based on work orders or project plans
  • Assist with returns, damaged goods processing, and inventory reconciliation
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, supervisors, and field teams
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience (telecom industry experience a plus)
  • Ability to lift 50–85 lbs regularly
  • Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods
  • Basic computer skills (inventory systems, email, spreadsheets)
  • Valid driver’s license preferred (may be required depending on company needs)
  • Forklift certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)
