SHIPPING CLERK at Mucci Farms Inc – Romulus, Michigan

Title: Shipping/Receiving Clerk 11am-7pm

Reports to: Shipping & Receiving Supervisor

Based at: Mucci PAC, USA

Type of Employment: Full time, permanent, 5 days a week (as required); may include weekend days.

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Responsible for overseeing all shipping and receiving activities within the team to ensure accuracy, completeness and condition of shipments.
• Ensure customer orders are delivered in a timely and cost effective manner.
• Confirm orders are received and properly scanned into warehouse location.
• Follow all safety requirements, policies, and reports any unsafe conditions to management.
• Establish open lines of communications with Logistics, Production and Commodities to ensure the availability of product to fill orders.
• Responsible for training new employees and motivating current employees.
• Other Duties assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in a shipping and receiving.
• Must have strong time organizational skills with emphasis on meeting deadlines.
• Must have strong time management skills with emphasis on meeting deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Famous software experience an asset, however; not a requirement.
• MS (Excel) office skills.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Hilo experience.
