Fulfillment/Office Services Coordinator at Automotive Industry Action Group – Southfield, Michigan

Job Summary: The Fulfillment/Office Services Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the delivery of AIAG products as well as maintaining publication and supply inventory. This position also coordinates maintenance and upkeep of equipment and office.

Main Responsibilities

Fulfillment:

• Packing and shipping customer and office orders daily with minimal errors
• Handling returns and customer issues
  • Proactively managing issues so they do not repeat
  • Analyze data for issues and inventory
• Inventory and reordering of publications
• Interface with UPS system
• Maintain shipping supplies
• Coordinating backup resources
• Other tasks as assigned

Office Services:

• Handle inventory and purchases of all office, training, and kitchen supplies
• Maintain cleanliness and setup of training/conference rooms
  • Coordinate additional assistance from Training Department
• Catering management
  • Order catering for training sessions, meetings, and events
  • Minimize complaints about catered lunches
  • Setup and clean-up
• Office repairs and maintenance management
  • Interface with building property management
  • Contract and supervise outside service vendors
• Daily kitchen upkeep and coffee service

• Must be able to easily lift up to 30 lbs. and be able to move tables/chairs
• Hours 7:00am to 4:30pm with the ability to work after hours quarterly
• Must be able to work independently and multi-task in a fast paced environment
• Ability to communicate and work with employees/customers/vendors at all levels
• Computer and software experience-Outlook/Word/Excel required
• Customer service, shipping and/or purchasing experience preferred
• Ability to drive to pick up catering and supplies when needed
