We are seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to drive central HR operations across our multi-state agency network, partnering closely with our HR Director to ensure seamless compliance, recruiting execution, and employee support.

As our HR Generalist, you will drive the daily HR operational engine for our 10 regional agency locations across Ohio, Michigan, and Indiana. You will oversee onboarding pipelines, manage Paylocity HRIS data, facilitate multi-state clinical credential compliance, and serve as the primary point of contact for employee benefits, leave requests, and workplace inquiries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruiting: Post job requisitions, source clinical (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, Therapists) and non-clinical candidates, screen applicants, schedule interviews for agency administrators, and manage the candidate pipeline within our Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Paylocity HRIS Management: Act as the primary day-to-day administrator for Paylocity; process new hires, maintain employee profiles, and ensure 100% completion of all onboarding workflows across hourly and salaried staff.
  • Multi-State Onboarding & Orientation: Facilitate weekly virtual onboarding for incoming clinical (RN, LPN, CNA, HHA, Therapists) and non-clinical personnel across OH, MI, and IN. Schedule background checks, and state-required pre-employment checks prior to field deployment.
  • Credentialing & Audit Support: Track and log clinician licenses, CPR certifications, background screenings, and health records to keep all agency personnel files audit-ready.
  • Leave & Benefits Assistance: Act as the first point of contact for employee benefit inquiries, open enrollment support, and initial intake for leave requests
  • First-Line Employee Relations: Provide administrative support to agency administrators and field staff on company policies, gathering preliminary facts for workplace inquiries as needed.
Requirements:

Qualifications & Requirements

Experience: 1-3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience, preffered. Prior experience in Home Health, Hospice, or Healthcare environments is strongly preferred.

Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience navigating Paylocity (or an equivalent enterprise healthcare HRIS) is required. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or equivalent practical experience.

Knowledge: Working understanding of healthcare compliance requirements, multi-state leave regulations (FMLA/ADA), and Workers’ Compensation intake.

Core Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, strong multi-tasking abilities across a multi-state footprint, and excellent communication skills.
