We’re looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a long-term engagement supporting the Department of Child Services (DCS). This role plays a key part in enhancing systems that support child welfare initiatives.

💼 Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-level business and systems analysis to support DCS applications (MaGIK)
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements
• Collaborate with development, QA, support, and project teams
• Drive process improvements and deliver scalable technical solutions
• Create user stories, workflows, traceability matrices, and testing documentation
• Support SDLC processes including design, testing, and production support

✅ Required Skills & Experience

• Strong background in Business Analysis methodologies
• Expertise in SDLC (Agile & Waterfall)
• Experience with financial workflows & system implementations
• Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Excel, Visio, Project, SharePoint, etc.)
• Knowledge of tools like Salesforce, Jira, Axure RP (preferred)
• Experience in system testing and QA methodologies
• Ability to work with stakeholders across technical and business teams

• Experience in child welfare systems or government environments
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills
