FT Warehouse Associate: 12AM-8AM Shift (Tues-Sat) in El Cajon, California at Medical Environmental Technologies

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our operations team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe handling of regulated medical waste within our facility. Key Responsibilities

As a Warehouse Worker with MET, your daily tasks will include:

Receiving & Processing Waste

• Safely receive and unload incoming containers of regulated medical waste.
• Inspect incoming loads for compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Sort and process waste streams according to OSHA, DOT, and company guidelines.

Handling & Transport

• Load and unload containers and drums from company trucks, ensuring all materials are handled safely and efficiently.
• Secure containers for transport and maintain accurate manifests and chain-of-custody documentation.

Organization & Facility Maintenance

• Properly label, stage, and store containers in designated warehouse areas.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with routine equipment checks, basic maintenance, and reporting of any safety concerns.

Safety & Compliance

• Strictly adhere to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and state regulatory requirements.
• Consistently wear and maintain appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all company protocols to protect staff, clients, and the environment.

Education:

• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience:

• Previous warehouse, industrial, or waste-handling experience is helpful but not required, training will be provided.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
• Comfortable working on your feet in a fast-paced and physically demanding environments
